Abstract
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service prepared an environmental assessment to evaluate the potential environmental impacts associated with habitat restoration and enhancement activities at the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The assessment evaluated the proposed habitat restoration and enhancement program designed to improve habitat conditions for migratory birds and native fish populations through restoration of tidal influence, salt marsh restoration, and restoration of Salmon Creek’s natural meander. . The assessment concluded with a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), indicating that the proposed habitat restoration and enhancement activities would not result in significant adverse environmental effects.
