Abstract
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service prepared an environmental assessment to evaluate the potential environmental impacts associated with the implementation of habitat restoration and enhancement activities at the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The assessment evaluated the proposed habitat restoration and enhancement program designed to increase environmental quality and improve habitat conditions for migratory birds and native fish populations within Humboldt Bay. This final Environmental Assessment was prepared by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex and San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex under the authority of the National Wildlife Refuge System Administration Act of 1966. The assessment concluded with a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), indicating that the proposed habitat restoration and enhancement activities would not result in significant adverse environmental effects.
