Abstract
This report is based on vegetation and wildlife surveys performed during August through October 1979 in the area of the Arcata Marsh Enhancement Project. The goal of these surveys was to document the existing vegetation in the areas destined to become freshwater marsh habitat and to estimate the use of the areas by wildlife, particularly birds, before and during the initial stages of the Arcata Marsh Enhancement Plan.
