Episode Description

G: ... so first as we have done every Thursday since March, let’s check in with Julia Butterfly, who is now in day 211 of her tree sit, high atop an ancient redwood. Hi Julia.

J: Lam so glad that you keep track of the days, because I keep losing track. So, I know I can always count on Thursday to find out what day I am on.

G: Yeah, 211 days, can you believe it?

J: No, and yes. It seems more like, for me it is just one long continuous day that I am just working, just as hard as ever to spread the message of love and truth and respect for all life with everyone I possibly can.

G: Thank you for doing that. Lots of big news lately around here, with the board of forestry here for the first three days of this week. KHSU, along with KMUD broadcast most of the hearings live. I know that you got speak to the board of forestry. How was that?
