Abstract

This article serves to track the impact and importance of prolific activist, author and mentor Er- ic Rofes. In particular we explore his contributions and leadership at Humboldt State University prior to his unexpected death in June 2006. His passing left colleagues, students and activists in shock, but also determined to carry on his legacy through their own work.
