Description

Welcome to Sequoia Park Zoo, where the flamingos have a lot to say! They gab, gossip, chatter, and squawk about every animal in the zoo. But Elwood is a flamingo of a different feather. While his friends are busy making noise, Elwood would rather settle into his favorite chair with a good book and let his imagination take flight. Join Elwood for a wildly wordy adventure filled with galloping goats, sightseeing salmon, bread-baking banana slugs, and plenty more animal antics. Along the way, young readers will discover silly synonyms, playful alliteration, fascinating animal facts, and new words to explore. A funny, imaginative celebration of animals, language, and the joy of getting lost in a good book.
