Abstract
After having spent over twenty years as a Police Officer and dealing with deviant and criminally aggressive people on a first hand basis my curiosity was aroused* Why do some people react so aggressively to the same stimuli that other people react calmly to? Why, under the exact same circumstances will one person resort to physical violence and deadly force when the other í person may only respond in a verbal manner? Thru these years of dealing with aggressive, psychotic, and deviant people I was assaulted with various weapons both lethal and non-lethal too many numerous times to mention here. Working with the problem as directly as a Police Officer must, we lose our power of looking at the subject in a truly objective manner. Therein lies the reason for this thesis. To investigate the Criminal Aggressor in an academic framework. So as to be able to come to some objective conclusion, as to what is: Criminal Aggression and why it manifests itself so differently among us.
