G: ...and as usual we are going to start the show by checking in with Julia Butterfly, now in her 176" day of the tree sit. Hi Julia.
J: Hello there Geraldine.
G: How are things up there today?
J: Still standing, which is a very, very positive thing.
G: That is a very, very positive thing. Well, I am glad to hear it. I know there is an event coming up next week, where they are going to celebrate 6 months of you being in the tree and that is going to be on next Wednesday June 10" at 11:00 there in Stafford.
J: Right, I’m really encouraging people, I am really, really glad that they are having something to bring people together in joy and love and laughter. You know what is happening here is so hard and is such a struggle that a lot of times people get so caught up in it their energy gets low. So, I am really happy that people are going to come together on a fin day, in celebration. I am hoping that what it is going to do is rejuvenate people’s spirits and rejuvenate their commitment to never back and to not stop in defending the last of these forests forever.
