Abstract
The Animals are People (AAP) story reflects a philosophical inquiry into the nature of sentience, what it means to cultivate community, and the ethical and moral considerations behind “sanctuary.”It gifts a heartwarming journey about growing up, rooting down, and falling in love with life. “We save the animals, then the animals save us,” and so the story goes.
