Abstract
effects of tourism can both positively and negatively effect a developing country. increase in tourism creates more revenue to got into the community and build hospitals, schools and other infrastructures. Developing countries that have access to ocean are more susceptible to having higher costs for basic living products. lack of land for landfill to dispose of trash and bio waste is a huge cost to these countries, but they can use bio waste to create a form of renewable energy to power the countries. Corruption from local governments force locals out of there homes to make way for hotels. corruption can lead to political unrest which can stop international tourist from coming to the country due to fear of being harmed by the locals.
