Nancy is a part of the Arcata Zen Group and Arising Holistic Center, and defines herself as a "philosophical Zen Buddhism practitioner." Topics covered include the changes of her practices during the Covid-19 pandemic, adapting to CDC guidelines, how older members have faired with Zoom, and the changes resulting from the Zen Group no longer having a permanent base.

Comments

Dr. Sara Hart's RS 301: Religion in America class submitted oral history projects for the Spring 2021 semester. The Project covers community members' religious experiences during the Covid-19 pandemic, how spiritual practices have adapted to social distancing, and how these requirements will evolve in the future.
