Abstract

We know that sexualized violence is not only an individual act of harm, but a structural and cultural phenomenon. Living in a small, rural community, there are unique dynamics around sexualized violence due to structural barriers, limited anonymity, and social/cultural norms. How do these dynamics intersect with rape culture and community complicity?
