Madeline Eubanks is an English Major at Cal Poly Humboldt on the Writing Practices track, and is set to graduate next spring. They were the typesetter for Toyon Issue 68. They have been writing creatively all their life and are happy to be pursuing it academically. They hope to publish some of their works soon, and have previously been included in Monterey Peninsula College's literary magazine, Scheherazade, as well as having placed twice in the Central Coast Writer's Club's short story contest, with the stories being published on the organizations' website. Aside from creative writing and published, Maddy aspires to be an English professor, like their parents before them, and will be pursuing their Master's after graduating from Humboldt.
