Jesús Martínez Saucedo (he/him/él) is a recent graduate of the University of San Diego. He majored in Spanish and double minored in Latin American Studies and Theology & Religious Studies. His poetry grapples with themes of mental illness, fissures, ruptures, migration, and sexuality. His bilingual poetry has been published by The Alcalá Review. He was born in Tijuana, México and divides his time between the Tijuana-San Diego borderlands and the agricultural fields of California's Central Valley.
