Bio
Kayla Gomez is an undergraduate student pursuing a major in Environmental Studies and a minor in Geography. While they are currently pursuing an emphasis in Appropriate Technology, their experiences as a queer and genderqueer person being raised in rural Mexico, Guatemala, and the Coachella Valley have resulted in a passion for justice in queer communities and communities of color.
While Kayla is not in class or doing homework, they spend their time cooking, studying permaculture, enjoying nature, listening to podcasts, or watching movies with their partner and two cats.
