Episode Description

G: ...but first as we have done for the past few Thursdays, let's check in with Julia Butterfly, now in day ninety-nine of her tree sit at Stafford. Hi Julia.

J: Hello Geraldine.

G: How is it going out there?

J: It’s going fantastic! There is a lot of support going for this rally that is going to occur tomorrow, and I am really excited about it. And the sunshine is playing its part rather well, as far as I can see.

G: Well, I have been told that the Garberville post of Veterans for Peace will present you with a Wage Peace Recognition of Valor Award, at the rally in Stafford at noon tomorrow. And I have also heard that tomorrow, EarthFirst!, as you mentioned, plans to celebrate the event of your one hundredth day with a public rally in Stafford, just west of highway 101 offramp, on public property, but with in sight of you and the Stafford giant. From where you sit Julia, will you be able to see the rally?
