Episode Description
G: My guest this afternoon will be joining us by cell phone from her temporary home 180 feet up an ancient redwood. I especially wanted to talk with her today about a woman we both admire, the late Judy Barry. Judy Barry was a social justice activist, a mother, and finally an outspoken proponent of deep ecology as a revolutionary world view. This week marks the one year anniversary of Judy Barry’s death from breast cancer, on March 2, 1997. Joining me, to remember Judy Barry is Julia Butterfly, hi Julia.
J: Hello
G: You up there in that tree huh?
J: Yeah still up here.
