Interview Abstract In this meeting I interview the owner of Jogg’n Shoppe, Mike Williams, and discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the running industry as seen through his eyes. Jogg’n Shoppe has been a part of Arcata’s recreation business since the early 1970’s and has helped enable running enthusiasts in Arcata ever since, in addition to keeping the industry going for local runners during the pandemic.

Creator’s Bio
Mike Williams is the owner of Jogg’n Shoppe located off the intersection of 11th and G Street. He was born in Arcata in 1962 and had developed a strong passion for the sport of running early in life. When the store first opened in the 1970’s it was one of his favorite places to hang out. By the early 2000’s he became a part owner, eventually becoming the store’s full owner.
