Humboldt Geographic is the Cal Poly Humboldt Geography department’s annual journal of student research and creative projects. Run entirely by students, Humboldt Geographic showcases the work of emerging researchers, cartographers, and storytellers, along with contributions from alumni and faculty.

Culminating Experience: Projects

We are proud to provide access to the projects of successful graduate students at Humboldt State University. Our students have completed projects to solve problems, offer creative solutions, use innovative technology, and much more.

A project is a significant undertaking appropriate to the fine and applied arts or to professional fields. It evidences originality and independent thinking, appropriate form and organization, and a rationale. It is described and summarized in a written document that includes the project's significance, objectives, methodology and a conclusion or recommendation.
