Bio

Born in Switzerland from Chinese and French-Armenian parents, Claire Hsu Accomando graduated from NYU with a degree in biology and chemistry. Her memoir Love and Rutabaga (St. Martin's Press) is being published in France this year. Other publications include essays in Women in World History, The Christian Science Monitor, American History Magazine. Ararat, Artweek, Promising Practices and others. Her poems have appeared in City Works, Atlanta Review, San Diego Poetry Annual, Mudfish, California Quarterly, San Diego Reader, A Year in Ink Anthology, and Magee Park Poets Anthology.
