Reproduced through Bancroft Library- University of California- Berkeley. "Ozalid of Photostat of Tebenkov Map of 1848 (from Russian Admiralty map which is probably not by Tebenkov. Mroscoe)- published in his atlas. Coy's bibliography gives date of the atlas he consulted as 1852. (Perhaps the atlas he used was a later edition.) The Tebenkov Map is an engraved map of the map the Winship party made during their 1806 exploration of this area. My photostat was secured from the Bancroft Library and is- of course- a much clearer copy than this ozalid. The Winship party mapped all of the coast which they explored- including the Fort Ross area. This section may also be secured from Bancroft. The above map covers territory from 39deg to 44deg15min- roughly from below the Mendocino County line (40deg) to the Heceta area in Oregon. Also consult p.406 of Loud's Ethnogeography and archaeology of the Wiyot territory (E51.C15 vol.14)"
