Abstract
Paso a Paso (Step by Step) is a community based program for Latino families in Humboldt County. For many years Paso a Paso has provided different services that educate parents and children on how to live healthier lives. Paso a Paso has become a trustworthy and loving program for Latinos to seek out for extra support. The purpose of my project was to evaluate the parenting and cognitive bio-social classes provided by Paso a Paso in Fortuna, California. The project's goal is to utilize feedback from participants and evaluate the effectiveness of these classes. As a result, parents and youth had common responses in regards to recommendations and opinions about the classes. Overall, parents were pleased with the outcome of the classes and the youth were interested in learning about different topics.
