Abstract
The purpose of this project is to identify both available and needed grief resources and services in Northern Humboldt County from Trinidad to Eureka. Participants were professionals in the community serving the bereaved in some capacity, including sub-groups of parents, siblings, children, and spouses/partners. Professionals were invited to participate by returning a signed informed consent form and a questionnaire. The data was collected by tallying the responses from each questionnaire. The results show awareness of available resources locally, nationally, and online. Themes were identified for the asset map of recommended resources and services. More research is needed to identify what the bereavement community needs to support their grief journey.
