My name is Noe Sanchez-Nino, a junior year student at Humboldt State University studying both History and Cellular/Molecular Biology. I was born in the city of Fortuna, where I still continue to reside. Reana West is the Substance Abuse Disorder administrator for the Department of Health and Human Services in Humboldt County. West, manages five programs and one minor programs that are all out-patient programs. Some integrated with the county's mental health system.

Our interview conducted on December 12, 2021 at 3:40 PM, took place over zoom. Audio was recorded on a separate device. We discuss access to substance abuse disorder in the time of Covid and how it has evolved to meet the needs of vulnerable citizens.
