Aims & Scope
ideaFest: Interdisciplinary Journal of Creative Works and Research from Humboldt State University publishes a wide range of research articles, interviews, visual arguments, and creative works from across the disciplines. It is meant to represent the diversity of scholarly and creative output at Humboldt State University. The journal showcases the work of undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, faculty, and staff from Humboldt State University.
CONTRIBUTORS: Any person affiliated with Humboldt State University may submit research or creative activity for blind review. Submissions may be co-written or may have single authors.
GENRES ACCEPTED: Genres may include, but are not limited to, scholarly articles, creative works, infographics, reviews, and interviews up to 4,000 words in length. Please note that ideaFest does not publish video or audio files, but these may be accepted into the Humboldt Digital Scholar (HDS) archive.
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to showcase their work in the HDS and ideaFest Journal simultaneously, and to participate in the annual ideaFest presentation event.
